Montrose intersection works to get underway next month

Works on Montrose’s main intersection will get underway next month, changing the current roundabout to a traffic lights.

Preparation works at the Mount Dandenong and Lieth Road intersection, including service proving and site establishment will begin in February, with major works expected to start in March.

During most of the works there will be permanent lane closures on all approaches to the intersection with a reduced speed limit in place.

Motorists should expect significant delays and observe all temporary traffic management in place for everyone’s safety.
