Total fire ban declared for Thursday 13 February

A total fire ban has been declared for the central district for Thursday 13 February with extreme danger ratings also declared. (File: 390909)

A total fire ban has been declared for Thursday 13 February, alongside an extreme fire danger rating in the South West, North Central and Central districts of Victoria, which includes the Yarra Ranges, Cardinia, Maroondah and Knox.

No fires can be lit or be allowed to remain alight in the open air from 12.01am on 13 February until 11.59pm 13 February.

Take action now to protect your life and property – fires will spread quickly and be extremely dangerous.
