Lilydale trains resume after equipment fault

Train services on the Lilydale Line are resuming between Ringwood and Mooroolbark, following an equipment fault.

“We ask passengers planning travel this evening to check station platform displays, listen for announcements, and allow extra time as trains get back into position for the normal timetable,” the Department of Transport and Planning said.

Passengers are reminded that rail replacement buses continue to operate between Camberwell and Box Hill for level crossing removal works.

The Department of Transport and Planning thanks passengers for their patience as crews worked to rectify the issue.

Real-time traffic conditions are available at traffic.vicroads.vic.gov.au or via the VicTraffic mobile app. The latest public transport information and network status is available at ptv.vic.gov.au or in the PTV mobile app.
