Police investigate Coldstream crash, two people in serious condition.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a collision in Coldstream on Saturday, 29 April.

It is understood two vehicles collided on Victoria Road at about 6.55 pm.

The driver of one of the vehicles, an 82-year-old Kilsyth woman, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Ambulance Victoria and The Alfred Hospital have confirmed she is in a serious but stable condition.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 38-year-old Mooroolbark man, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Ambulance Victoria has confirmed that he was transported to the Melbourne Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.

CFA and SES were in attendance, assisting on the scene.

Police are keen to hear from anyone with footage of a black Subaru Forester travelling north on Victoria Road prior to the collision.
