Police investigate fatal Croydon collision

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Croydon this morning.

It is understood a car and a motorcyclist collided at the intersection of Vinter Avenue and Bayswater Road about 11.50am.

Sadly, the yet-to-be formally identified solo rider died at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene.

The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Eastfield Road, Vinter Avenue and Bayswater Road remain closed.
