Ausnet to conduct inspections

AusNet will be undertaking its annual aerial inspection program from Monday 15 December to Thursday 18 December in the following LGA areas: Bass Coast, Cardinia, Casey, Frankston, Greater Dandenong, Hume Knox, Mitchell, Nillumbik, Whittlesea, and Yarra Ranges.

The company uses helicopters to identify and repair any wear and tear on powerlines and poles.

These inspections are intended to facilitate a reliable and safe electricity supply for Victorian communities and are being undertaken as Victorians are urged to prepare for an increased bushfire risk this summer.
