Yarra Ranges council has announced the 2022 Australia Day Awards will be held online to remain Covid-safe for the protection of staff and community members.
Last year’s ceremony was held at the Yarra Ranges Athletics track within Morrison Reserve, Mt Evelyn with restrictions on attendance.
This year, award recipients will be invited to meet with Mayor Jim Child to receive their awards and citation.
Mt Evelyn residents can tune into the award handover on Yarra Ranges Life TV, who will be co-hosting with the council.
